  • First chaired arbitration involving termination of independent insurance agency

  • Obtained summary judgment in Minnesota state court dismissing a misappropriation of trade secrets claim against a Fortune 1000 technology company 
  • Secured order in Michigan federal court dismissing FDCPA and unjust enrichment claims before class certification against national mortgage servicer
  • Represented fortune 500 national bank in a class action venued in Louisiana alleging excessive attorneys’ fees in residential mortgage foreclosures
  • Represented financial services company and directors and officers in 10b-5 securities class action in Minnesota federal court
  • Represented pharmaceutical company in California and Delaware state court in shareholder actions seeking to preclude stock-for-stock acquisition 
  • Worked with other Oppenheimer lawyers to establish that “deepening insolvency” is not a recognized form of corporate damage in Minnesota in Christians v. Grant Thornton LLP, 733 N.W.2d 803 (Minn. Ct. App. 2007)
