Since 1983, Donna Goldman has managed wealth for multi-generations of families. She has built her career with a primary emphasis on Women in Transition, Divorce, Loss of Partner, Retirement Planning, Professional Athletes and Philanthropy. Donna has been a Five Star Wealth Manager and chosen as “Best in Client Satisfaction Overall” every year since 2010, while being featured in Westchester Magazine.
Through the years she has been featured panelist and speaker at money management seminars for organizations such as the Women's Bar Association, Parents Without Partners, Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA and individual teams), B'nai B'rith, Public Library Systems, the Women's Sports Foundation, the NCAAW and the New York Chapter American College of Physicians.
A passion for philanthropy has always been a part of Donna’s life, and in past years she has worked with many non–profit organizations such as Greyston Foundation, Westchester Fund For Women & Girls in the Westchester Community Foundation, Hope’s Door (formerly the Norther Westchester Shelter), Go-Red and United Way’s Women’s Leadership.
She and her husband, Howard Hirsch, also a financial advisor, built successful careers at Prudential Securities and Smith Barney before they joined Oppenheimer in Spring 2009. They were drawn to the firm by its entrepreneurial culture and its emphasis on high-touch client service, which forms an integral part of their financial practice.
Donna graduated from Binghamton University (State University of New York at Binghamton) with a B.A. in psychology and a Certificate in Human Services. Subsequently, she earned her Certified Financial Planner designation, from the Certified Financial Board of Standards Inc. at Adelphi University. With children grown and living on their own, she now can be found painting, and playing pickle ball and tennis.
