Our commitment to you during these times

We value all of our clients and the trust they put in Oppenheimer.

The circumstances surrounding the coronavirus pandemic continues to be a factor in our everyday lives. During this time, the health and well-being of our associates and our clients is what matters most.

Across our firm, we have been taking proactive and prudent actions based on our established continuity and pandemic plans; guidance from federal, state, and local respected health organizations; school systems, and in alignment with our ongoing preparedness. We are confident in our actions to date and will continue to do everything possible to ensure continuity of service and excellent support, as well as to help safeguard the health and wellness of our associates and clients. Below are changes we have made during these unpredictable times.

We organized a response team.

A core team of firm leaders is assembled to guide our response and to lead the firm with this effort. Our experienced Oppenheimer professionals have learned from past experience with emergencies, and have continually refined and improved our ability to respond to concerns about the state of the global markets, and the seamless continuation of our operations.

The response team continues to assess information from Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as with local health and governmental authorities. We make every effort to ensure our policies and procedures meet or exceed recommended guidelines.

We have a strong infrastructure for business continuity.

Our technology allows for employees to continue servicing our clients with the ability to work remotely, to avoid a disruption of service to our business. We have also established locations which allow for the continuance of trading, operations, and support to our clients’ accounts.

We are refraining from having in-person meetings.

Teleconferencing is available to our teams so we can continue to collaborate with our clients and with our fellow employees. Additionally, our corporate travel is suspended, and we have asked any employee who might have traveled to high-risk locations (personally or professionally) to observe appropriate quarantine procedures.

We are confident in our actions and we will continue to do everything possible to ensure the continuity of service and excellent support, as well as to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our employees and clients.

Our professionals are available to you to discuss your portfolio, the markets, and answer any questions you may have. If you are not a client and have questions, reach out to an Oppenheimer Financial Advisor.
