Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. acted as Exclusive Financial Advisor to Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. ("Roadrunner") on its sale of Prime Distribution Services, Inc. ("Prime") to C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. ("C.H. Robinson"). Prime is one of the largest retail consolidators in the US, operating as an asset-light logistics services provider for consumer packaged goods companies selling into retailers. Prime operated as a subsidiary of Roadrunner, the diversified logistics and LTL and TL transportation services provider. Roadrunner viewed the divestiture of Prime as a unique opportunity to improve its balance sheet and simplify its offering portfolio.
