Oppenheimer Hosts Successful Back-to-School Supply Drives
In celebration of the back-to-school season, 25 Oppenheimer branches came together to support students nationwide through a series of back-to-school supply drives. Throughout the summer, employees generously contributed over 5,000 school supplies along with $7,500 in monetary donations.
Volunteers then packed the school supplies (notebooks, folders, pencils, etc.) into 220 brand-new backpacks, which were distributed to two schools near the firm’s New York City headquarters: the Urban Assembly School of Business for Young Women and Richard R. Green High School of Teaching.
Additionally, 30 backpacks were donated to the Kids-In-Need Foundation (KINF), extending Oppenheimer’s impact beyond the local NYC community.
This initiative showcases The Power of Oppenheimer Thinking in action, demonstrating a commitment to giving back and empowering students as they embark on a new school year.
