This transaction is Oppenheimer’s fifth sole managed convertible notes offering for WisdomTree
Oppenheimer & Co. acted as the Sole Bookrunner for WisdomTree, Inc. (NYSE:WT) on its $345,000,000 offering of 3.25% Convertible Senior Notes due 2029. The proceeds of the transaction were used to (i) repurchase 14.8 million shares of WisdomTree’s Series A Preferred Stock for ~$144 million, (ii) repurchase ~$104 million principal amount of WisdomTree’s 5.75% Convertible Senior Notes due 2028 for ~$133 million, and (iii) repurchase 5.7 million shares of WisdomTree’s common stock for ~$55 million concurrent with the transaction. WisdomTree’s stock price traded up 1.3% on the transaction announcement and 2.4% for the day.
