David Dellinger is a Senior Director - Investments at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and is based out of Houston, TX. David’s clients include insurance companies, corporations, high-net worth individuals, families and small-to-mid sized businesses.

David has spent 30 years working in institutional bond sales and trading and has traded over $20 billion in bonds with many of the largest, most sophisticated institutional investors in the world.

Understanding the inherent bond market bias toward institutional investors and the pitfalls facing individual investors in bonds, in 2016 David left R.W. Baird after 16 years to found AIS Capital Management with the goal of leveling the playing field for fixed income investors. Ultimately, the firm grew beyond his ability to singlehandedly manage the day to day operations and in November of 2020 he moved his clients under the Oppenheimer umbrella which offered him not just the clerical support but enhanced trading abilities.

David’s investment strategy emphasizes achieving higher yields and preservation of capital, making it ideal for investors seeking above market, steady income such as high net worth retirees. In his practice, David has turned the tables and now capitalizes on inefficiencies in the bond market pricing to add Alpha to his clients fixed income portfolios.

David graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Business Management and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Texas while serving in the U.S. Navy. He holds the FINRA 6, 7, and 66 registrations and is registered in multiple states with clients in Texas, Nevada, Oklahoma and Illinois.
