JAMES H. (JIM) NICHOLSON
Clients benefit from Jim’s exceptional solutions-based mind; his passion toward financial education and his genuine care to help every family and individual meet their financial goals. As an OMEGA Portfolio Manager, Jim focuses on developing tailored financial strategies that cater to each client’s unique goals, ensuring a personalized approach to effective wealth management. Jim began his investment career at Foster and Marshall in 1981 which later became Smith Barney. It was at Smith Barney that he and the Henshaw’s teamed up. Looking for a more personal experience to offer clients, the HNH Group transitioned to Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in 2009. At Oppenheimer, Jim develops and implements tactical investment strategies to help clients work toward achieving their financial goals. His success is evident by the strength and longevity of the client relationships he has maintained throughout his 40+ year career.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Finance from Oregon State University and also studied at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada. In college, Jim earned NAIA All-American status in swimming. An enthusiast of all sports, Jim is an accomplished sports photographer. He has photographed professional and college sporting events and actively volunteers as a photographer at many high school sporting events. Jim’s volunteerism extends into education as well. He has dedicated countless hours toward the development and implementation of a financial literacy curriculum, nationally and in the Seattle Public Schools District. Jim serves on national and local advisory boards that are transforming the high school educational experience. Jim feels passionately that we must arm high school students with information and school skills for young people to succeed in the world. Jim also serves as a FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator having qualified through the National Arbitration and Mediation Committee.
Jim resides in Sammamish with his wife Lynda. They have two adult sons and four grandchildren. Jim loves playing golf and fishing, especially when he can find his way to the middle of a remote and secluded lake.
ROBERT P. HENSHAW
Robert Henshaw adds strong analytical and planning skills to the HNH Group of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. He is responsible for developing our formal financial strategies and enjoys the process of meeting with clients to establish goals, risk tolerance, asset allocation and income needs. As an Omega Portfolio Manager, Rob creates customized investment models, which he manages not only for HNH Group clients, but for other advisor’s clients as well.
Investing primarily in individual stocks, bonds, and ETF’s, Rob uses a combination of fundamental investment and technical analysis in building investment portfolios. He applies a value based philosophy for the core of the portfolios, with an eye for unique, contrarian or special situations that arise for time to time.
Rob has worked in the Seattle/Bellevue financial services industry for over 25 years. He began his career in consumer lending and estate planning. He found his passion in the investment business at Smith Barney, where he joined with his father and Jim Nicholson forming the HNH Private Client Group. In 2009, they transitioned their business to Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. for its flexibility, no proprietary products, open architecture, and superior fixed income and trading services.
Rob earned his BS in Finance and Economics from Western Washington University. A native of the Pacific Northwest, he enjoys fishing, crabbing, skiing, snowmobiling, mountain biking and coaching youth soccer. He lives in Bellevue with his wife, Megan and their two boys.
LAUNA M. ROHAR,

Launa Rohar, CFP®, is a dedicated financial professional committed to guiding individuals, families and small businesses on their financial journeys. Launa focuses on creating financial plans and strategies that align with each client’s unique needs and goals. Launa has the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation from the Certified Planner Boards of Standards Inc. Launa strives to empower clients and simplify the financial planning process, helping clients achieve lasting financial security.
Since joining the HNH Group of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in 2018, Launa has established herself as a thought leader in her field. She is committed to ongoing professional development, maintaining licenses and certifications to enhance her capacity to serve with excellence. Launa's approach is rooted in building meaningful, long-term relationships with her clients, ensuring they feel supported and empowered throughout their financial journey.
Outside of her professional life, Launa is an avid musician and gardener. An alumna of the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in flute performance, she performs in her local community, judges music festivals, and is a respected flute teacher and mentor. Launa enjoys outdoor activities in the Puget Sound area and cherishes time spent with her three sons, who share her love of music. Beyond music, she delights in collecting small conifer specimens, hiking, exploring the diverse fungi of the Pacific Northwest, traveling, and attending arts events. .
REID H. WOLCH
Reid brings fresh perspective, creative solutions, and new insights to the HNH Group of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. Before joining the group full-time, Reid earned his Masters of Piano Performance from the University of Denver. He additionally holds a Bachelors in Economics with minors in Finance and Computer Science from Pacific Lutheran University. Reid comes with a passion for the markets and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Reid believes in our group’s ability to effectively customize strategies for clients, and is excited by the flexibility and agility Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. provides. Prior internship experiences at Sun Life Investment Management, JPMorgan, and Government Perspectives have given Reid the opportunity to develop his critical thinking skills, build his knowledge in the financial services industry, and learn the importance of delivering excellent service to clients.
Reid is an award winning pianist. He loves performing, teaching, and collaborating with other musicians. You might find Reid playing with his mother, Launa Rohar, who is a flutist and Financial Advisor on the team. Reid also enjoys exploring new coffee shops and hiking trails, and spending time at his family’s cabin on Whidbey Island.
NITIKA KUMAR
Nitika graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California in 2024. She holds a Bachelor in Economics, minoring in Research Methodology and Quantitative Methods. Prior work experiences at a Scandinavian art consulting business and a public sector consulting firm created a passion for working with clients and interest in financial analysis. At Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., Nitika is excited to join to the HNH Private Client Group, assisting clients with account service needs, supporting the team, as well as developing her skills in portfolio analysis. Outside the office, Nitika enjoys many outdoor activities including hiking, paddle boarding, pickle ball, and basketball.
