Biography:

In 2006, Tom began working in the financial services industry in San Francisco. He moved back to his native Colorado in 2011 to grow his wealth management practice and raise his family. Tom focuses on customized proactive investment strategies designed to help wealthy families and business owners reduce their tax liabilities, grow their money more effectively and focus on the income within their portfolio. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

Tom’s initial step is to truly listen to his client in order to build a trusting relationship enabling the client to establish “an oriented process”. Second, based on his experience he does an in-depth analysis to develop a customized proactive investment strategy, keeping in mind the client’s growth, income and risk goals and expectations. Once Tom and the client agree on the chosen path, he implements the strategy and follows up with the client on a monthly basis, to be proactive and help manage risk.

Proactive planning is one key to being financially successful; therefore, building plans for his clients is a top priority because… It is not “what” you invest in but “how” you invest.

He enjoys doing many outdoor activities, with his wife, Karen, his son, Tommy and his two daughters, Reagan and Finley, which include skiing, hiking, boating and sailing.

Biography:

John Ingraham, Senior Director – Investments, joined Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. (“Oppenheimer”) in 2016 in the Cherry Creek, Colorado office. John has been a Financial Advisor since 1986 and he focuses on the preservation and growth of client assets. The lessons he learned over the past 30 years can be summed up with three main investment themes:

  • (1) No one can predict market tops or bottoms.
  • (2) The key to capital preservation is to have a diversified portfolio.
  • (3) The more complicated and expensive an investment product is for a client, the less likely the product will make money for the client.

John holds FINRA Series 7, Series 31, Series 63 and Series 65 licenses and is licensed as an agent for Life and Health Insurance in Colorado. He graduated with a B.S. in English Literature from Hamilton College in 1983.

When he is not building and managing retirement and wealth preservation portfolios for clients, he is skiing, biking, and climbing Colorado’s “14’ers” with his wife, Dena, and daughter, BrynLee.
