TANNER G ROBINSON,
Designation: AIF®, CFP®
Tanner joined Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. as Director -Investments in its Winston-Salem office in October 2009. Prior to joining Oppenheimer he spent several years at Merrill Lynch, and has been serving clients in the financial services industry for almost two decades . His clients include high-net-worth families and individuals, as well as institutional investors, such as health care systems, foundations, endowments, retirement plans, and family offices.
Tanner is the senior leader of the team and works directly with clients to understand their unique financial situations and goals, and customizes strategies to achieve those goals. Tanner holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) from the Center for Fiduciary Studies designations. He has received many professional accolades including being named to OnWallStreet’s list of “Top 25 Regional Advisors Under 40” as well as the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) top DC Advisor Teams. The Regional Advisors Under 40 Ranking is based on production only of those advisors that were nominated for inclusion to the OnWallStreet annual list and the NAPA Top DC Advisor Team highlights the nation’s leading retirement plan advisor teams on defined contribution plans.
He received a B.S. in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina and has served on the University’s Board of Visitors. Tanner currently serves on several other boards including Samaritan Ministries and The Old Hickory Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and previously has served on the North Carolina Courts Commission, Forsyth Jail and Prison Ministries and Trellis Supportive Care. He was a founding board member of the New Benefactors of Old Salem and the Hospice and Palliative Care Leadership Council as well as the past Chair of the Board of the Triad Chapter of the March of Dimes. He serves in leadership and volunteer capacities at Centenary United Methodist Church, UMAR and World Relief Outreach. Tanner is a graduate of Leadership Winston-Salem and he is married with two daughters.
CHRISTOPHER MUNNELLY
Chris serves as the Director of Investments for the Robinson Private Client Group of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. He joined the team as an Associate Financial Advisor in the Winston-Salem office in January, 2017. Prior to his time at Oppenheimer, Chris was a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company.
He holds the Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor™ (SE-AWMA®) designation awarded by the College for Financial Planning® as well as the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies®. Chris also carries the Series 6, 7, 66, Life, Health, and Long Term Care licenses. His clients include high-net-worth and institutional investors such as individuals and families, professional athletes, as well as foundations and retirement plans. Chris works with his clients to create customized strategies aimed at achieving specific financial goals.
Chris received a B.A. in Management and Society from UNC-Chapel Hill. At UNC, he was a four-time letterman for the varsity baseball team, played in two College World Series, and received the 2013 McCaskill Award for excellence in athletics, scholarship, and service to the community. After graduating, Chris played professional baseball in the Houston Astros’ organization as a pitcher.
Chris is a native of Winston-Salem, NC and a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. He also serves as a board member for the Trellis Supportive Care Foundation and volunteers time with Centenary United Methodist Church, Samaritans Ministry and the Winston Salem Street School. Chris and his wife Annsley have two sons, Miller and Carson.
ROBERT REAVIS
Rob joined The Robinson Private Client Group of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in 2024 as an Associate Financial Professional. His background traverses the public and private sectors where Rob has been a proven leader and servant.
Previously, Rob served for 16 years in the North Carolina Highway Patrol attaining the rank of Sergeant. In addition to his duties on patrol, he also trained new members of the Patrol. Rob’s mission as an advisor is to serve as a trusted partner and advocate for clients while helping them navigate the complexities of the financial world with confidence. He seeks to provide them with both the tools and strategies needed to secure their financial well-being.
Rob received a B.S. in Technology Education from Appalachian State University and a Master of Education from North Carolina State University. He is an active member of his community and has served on various boards, including the Yadkin County Board of Education, Yadkin County Community Foundation Board, and the Yadkin County Education Foundation.
Rob resides in Yadkin County with his wife, Summer, and 3-year-old son, Cooper. He is a member and active volunteer at Two Cities Church in Winston-Salem.
TYLER BRITTON
Tyler Britton joined the Robinson Private Client Group of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. as a Group Analytical Associate in the Winston-Salem office in 2017 and began serving as the Associate Director in 2023. Tyler provides research, due diligence and fund analysis, asset allocation modeling, portfolio allocation and activity monitoring, financial planning, trade execution, and develops customized performance reporting packages. Tyler also oversees communication and project management processes across the team to ensure delivery of premier client service. Prior to joining the firm, he played professional baseball in the Houston Astros organization as a pitcher.
Tyler received his Bachelors in Business Administration with a Minor in Economics from High Point University. While in college, Tyler earned Dean’s List every semester while competing on the varsity baseball team. He was also named a CoSIDA First Team All-Academic for District III his senior year.
Tyler is a native of Jamestown, NC and currently resides in High Point, NC with his wife, Brooklyn. He is a member of Mercy Hill Church in Greensboro, NC and is a volunteer with various partner ministries around the Triad.
