SPENCER NURSE
Spencer Nurse was born and raised in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He studied economics in London and completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at the University of Oregon. After working for Kidder Peabody and Dean Witter, he joined Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in 1998 to serve as a wealth manger to affluent families. He has spent over twenty five years in the investment advisory field.
In 2014 Spencer was promoted to Senior Portfolio Manager and is one of twenty six Senior Portfolio Managers at the Firm. As a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Omega Group, he serves as a Fiduciary for his clients. This is the highest legal standard in the financial services industry. For the last five years, Spencer has been named to Oppenheimer's prestigious Executive Council for three years, and the Chairman's Council for two years. He was the first advisor in the Pacific Northwest to earn the esteemed designation of being a member of the Chairman’s Council, which exemplifies the top 40 of Oppenheimer’s best advisors and represents the highest standards of excellence in his profession. For three consecutive years, Forbes-Shook named Spencer as one of the top 50 Best in State Washington State wealth advisors.
Spencer and his team directly manage client's portfolios taking day to day responsibility for research, trades, tax efficiency and risk management. Spencer believes that wealth management is not merely managing individual securities, but also involves overseeing a client's complete financial picture. His team's detailed approach to overseeing clients' wealth involves strategies for tax, estate, retirement, philanthropic and educational considerations. The team coordinates with clients' estate and tax advisors to create a cohesive plan. The financial planning and wealth management process is rigorous and highly customized to meet each client's unique set of objectives and goals. He considers himself to be in business to protect and grow wealth, which prioritizes each individual client's financial interest. While the team has a diverse set of clients, many clients have careers focused in technology.
Spencer was a three-time Junior Olympian in downhill skiing. At age sixteen, he was ranked sixth in the world for the downhill speed event. His family's involvement with the Jackson Hole Ski Corporation aided him in his pursuits. He carries over the discipline he learned in competing to managing his clients' affairs. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children, fly fishing, snow skiing, windsurfing, and hiking.

ANNE CHAO
Anne Chao joined Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in 1998. Anne joined the team after working on the institutional fixed income side of the business where she frequently facilitated trades of $5 million to $20 million. With over 20 years of industry experience, Anne is responsible for all aspects of client services, operations, and administrative duties. Her professionalism and knowledge are valuable assets to the team.
Born in Taiwan, Anne immigrated to the United States when she was 9 years old. She graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Economics. She holds her General Registered Representative License (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (63), and The Uniform Investment Adviser Law (65). Anne is fluent in Mandarin, enjoys reading, and, most of all, good food.

FREYA THUKRAL
Freya began her career as a financial planning specialist in 2005, and brings nearly twenty years of experience in the financial services industry. Her role on the team focuses on working extensively with clients to understand their individual circumstances, and develop customized strategies encapsulated in a financial plan to include their retirement, educational, and philanthropic goals. Freya prides herself on being a resource for clients, and is passionate about helping them navigate their financial lives. She holds the Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, along with certifications focusing on retirement management, charitable giving and wealth transfer.
Raised in Australia, Freya and her family have called Seattle home since 2015. She enjoys painting, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, son and their dog.
