Cheryl’s annual “Mermaid Garden Event” is a magical experience for garden enthusiasts and ladies in the community seeking to escape to a tropical oasis for an evening.  This year’s event took place on a lovely July evening amidst the soothing sound of waterfalls and the aroma of sweet lilies.  Spirits soared and ladies of all ages united as they enjoyed Cheryl’s passion for creating magical ladies events for all to enjoy.  Over 150 ladies brought their friends and made new ones while basking in the delicacies for all senses including fine wine, hors d’oeuvres, lush gardens, and mystical mermaids.

The Lansing Area Community is getting something to smile about as we celebrate Halloween! Young and old are getting in the spirit of the season as they drive by our Spooktacular Display! Thank you to Michael Patrick Shiels on Michigan's Big Show for sharing it on his program.

HASLETT, Mich. (WILX) - 177 Damon Road in Haslett is decked out for the holidays.

The mastermind behind the display, Cheryl Underwood, says she was surprised it got this big.

“We were going to decorate and put lights out, but we didn’t really expect it to be this big,” said Cheryl. “We didn’t expect that we were going to have 350 cars a night driving by so it’s been phenomenal.”
