Learn More About This Year’s Cohort

This year, 5 recent graduates were selected to participate in Oppenheimer’s annual Trainee Program. This immersive opportunity allows young professionals to rotate throughout four departments over the course of the year. By exposing them to different areas of the firm, they gain a comprehensive knowledge of financial services from multiple perspectives.

Kyle Chwatt

Hometown: Boca Raton, FL
College: University of Florida
Major/Minor(s): Finance and Real Estate
Previous Oppenheimer Internship: Wealth Management (Summer 2018), Consulting and Sales (2019)
Fun Fact: Kyle played basketball with Randy Moss
What you’re most looking forward to as a rotational analyst: I am looking forward to the ability to see my work make an impact on the lives of clients and the opportunity to gain experience from a diverse group of mentors.

Garrett Meinhardt

Hometown: Livingston, NJ
College: University of Michigan
Major/Minor(s): Political Economics and Spanish
Previous Oppenheimer Internship: Private Client Division (Summer 2019)
Fun Fact: Garrett has been a drummer since kindergarten
What you’re most looking forward to as a rotational analyst: I look forward to working in a cohesive team and really becoming part of the Opco culture. I am excited for what is to come this year and beyond.

Sara Fox

Hometown: Bethpage, New York
College: Baruch College
Major/Minor(s): Finance, Political Science, and a concentration in Business Writing
Previous Oppenheimer Internship: Compliance AML KYC (Summer 2018, 2019, and 2019-2020 school year)
Fun Fact: Sara was a competitive gymnast for 15 years and has been to 14 countries
What you’re most looking forward to as a rotational analyst: As a rotational analyst, I am looking forward to having the opportunity to explore different areas of the firm. I have enjoyed my time at Oppenheimer over the last two years and feel that in this new role, Oppenheimer’s flat organizational culture will continue to allow me to explore my interests, ask questions, and to develop the necessary skills in order for me to excel in my career.

Jonathan Fincher

Hometown: Westport, CT
College: Boston College
Major/Minor(s): Finance and Entrepreneurship
Previous Oppenheimer Internship: Convertible Bonds (Summer 2019)
Fun Fact: John is an avid golfer
What you’re most looking forward to as a rotational analyst: As an intern, I really valued how willing more senior employees were to give their time and share some of their experience over coffee or a quick chat. I am eager to continue to learn from and connect with the experienced professionals at all different levels of the firm, in order to determine where my skills and experience will apply best.

Zachary Beyloune

Hometown: Sudbury, MA
College: Union College
Major/Minor(s): Major: Economics and Environmental Policy
Fun Fact: Zach spent a term abroad in France and traveled to 10 different countries across Europe
What you’re most looking forward to as a rotational analyst: I am most looking forward to the opportunity to work for different departments to truly determine where my skills fit best. This unique opportunity, especially at a firm like Oppenheimer in which I can build meaningful professional relationships, will help me greatly in my professional career.
