Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. acted as co-placement agent for Capitol Investment Corp. V’s (NYSE: CAP) PIPE for the business combination with Doma, the leading disrupter of real estate transactions. Proceeds from the $300 million PIPE will be used to fund the pending $3 billion business combination with Doma.
Capitol Investment Corp. V (“Capitol”) is a special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC. Doma, formerly known as States Title, is architecting the future of residential real estate transactions through delivering instant, digital home ownership experiences. Doma’s machine intelligence platform aims to replace large portions of the antiquated residential real estate closing process with instant technology solutions.
