She began her journey at Mesirow, where she was part of the national coverage team, serving major issuer clients including the States of California, New York, and Wisconsin, with a special focus on local issuers such as the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago. In addition to her technical expertise, Madison took on a compliance liaison role, developing a strong knowledge of MSRB rules and FINRA regulations — a skill set she carried with her through her transitions to UBS and now Oppenheimer. Her meticulous attention to detail and hands-on approach have earned her a reputation as a superior deal execution specialist via senior managing high-profile transactions such as the City of Chicago’s Sales Tax Securitization Corporation 2023 financing, the Indianapolis Bond Bank’s Circle City Forward and Criminal Justice Center issuances, and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County’s 2021 Water & Sewer financing. Notably, the Chicago transaction won The Bond Buyer’s 2023 Deal of the Year Award.

Madison’s leadership extends beyond her day-to-day duties. At Oppenheimer, she has played a crucial role in the firm’s public finance buildout, effectively serving as the group’s Chief Operating Officer while also fostering her own client relationships, particularly in her home state of Nebraska. Her efforts have been instrumental in building a strong culture of camaraderie and cross-collaboration within the firm, making her a respected figure among colleagues, peers, and clients alike.

Oppenheimer congratulates Madison on this well-deserved honor.
