JOHN MANN
John Mann is an Executive Director of Investments and founding partner of The Olympic Private Client Group of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. John focuses on establishing a holistic view of each client’s unique financial needs and goals. In this process, a bespoke investment strategy is created for each client. These strategies often include coordination and input from the clients’ other trusted advisors, such as their CPAs, estate and business planning attorneys, trustees, and banking professionals.
John holds the distinguished title of Senior Portfolio Manager of the OMEGA group at Oppenheimer & Co. and holds both the FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
A native of Newport Beach John and his wife Kelly enjoy spending time in the ocean. John is a graduate of the University of California Berkeley, a two time Olympian and captain in water polo for The United States.
BRIAN HAMMER
Brian started his journey with Oppenheimer in 2005 and joined the Olympic Private Client Group as an Executive Director of Investments in 2024. Prior to becoming a member of the Olympic Group, Brian led Oppenheimer's Hammer Group. He began his financial career advising clients on fixed income and has broad experience with individuals and corporations seeking advice in many areas, including retirement planning and investment strategy.
With a careful yet forward-thinking approach, Brian works with individuals to address their net worth. He prioritizes wealth accumulation, offers recommendations for current income, and collaborates with clients' tax advisors to plan asset distribution. Brian values personalized service and fosters enduring relationships, often spanning multiple generations within families.
Brian earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Chapman University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. In his spare time, he enjoys travel, collecting wine, and spending time with his friends and family.
MICHAEL LEGASPI
Michael serves his high-net-worth clientele by helping to take the stress from their complex lives. He finds fulfillment managing their sophisticated estate planning.
With over 18 years of combined banking and financial service experience, he enjoys crafting a financial roadmap to help clients transition to retirement and transfer their wealth to the succeeding generations.
A graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Finance, Michael served with Washington Mutual, Wells Fargo Private Bank, and JP Morgan Private Bank before joining Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in 2019.
Michael and his wife are happily raising three beautiful daughters. An experienced pianist, he remains passionate about sharing his musical talents with the community. He likes to stay in shape by working out and golfing. Michael is also actively involved in raising money and advocating for cancer research.
MARK ROMAN
After graduating from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Mark harnessed his ambition and creativity to become a sought-after editor/supervising producer in Hollywood. Initially, Mark focused his efforts on television programs and promotions, but he quickly shifted roles becoming a dynamic strategist and consultant for a large media network. Mark was nominated for several Emmys as an editor and also won multiple Emmys for “Good Day L.A.” and Fox News.
While enjoying a successful career in media, Mark had the opportunity to change trajectories and follow his first love, equity trading. In joining the firm, Mark applies his proven management and strategic skills in the construction of our client’s portfolios. In evaluating our clients’ unique goals, values, and needs, Mark leverages our holistic planning methods, market analytics, and experience to custom tailor investment strategies.
Mark lives in the San Fernando Valley with his wife and son. He enjoys skiing, golfing, and cooking.
KATHLEEN MURRAY
Kathleen joined Oppenheimer with the Hammer Group in 2013, and then transitioned to the Olympic Private Client Group as a Senior Director in 2024. Kathleen has over 20 years of experience in the securities industry and holds the the Series 7, 63, 66 and 99TO FINRA registrations.
Prior to joining Oppenheimer, Kathleen held positions with Prudential Securities, Wachovia Securities, and Raymond James. By leveraging her vast expertise, she enjoys building strong relationships with her clients to assist with various transitions in generational wealth.
Outside of the office, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren, as well as pursuing hobbies that include hiking, camping, and crafting.
STEVEN RODRIGUEZ
Steven joined Oppenheimer & Co Inc. in 2019, bringing with him an unyielding work ethic. Prior to joining Oppenheimer, Steven served as a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps. He served in multiple capacities while in the military, beginning his career as a platoon commander and Fire Direction Officer and ultimately deploying aboard the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit. While deployed, Steven spent time in South East Asia, East Africa, and the Middle East conducting amphibious operations, conflict deterrence, and training foreign nationals. He now uses many of the same strategic skills to help executives, entrepreneurs, and affluent individuals/families find creative solutions to generate and preserve wealth.
Steven graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in Business Administration, with a concentration in finance. He was an active member of the Business Honors Program, the Applied Securities Analysis Program, and the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
He currently resides in Huntington Beach, where he enjoys spending time outdoors boating or on the mountain snowboarding.
Steven holds the General Securities Representative License (Series 7) and the NASAA Uniform Combined State Law Examination (Series 66).
DANIEL TYLER HOLT
Daniel joined the Olympic Private Client Group in 2022 as an Associate Financial Professional. Prior to Oppenheimer, he traveled the country as a Catastrophe Insurance Adjuster, assisting homeowners in rebuilding their lives. Daniel's attention to detail facilitated a seamless transition from evaluating multifaceted claims to addressing clints’ financial futures.
An alumnus of University of Colorado at Boulder, Daniel graduated from the Leeds School of Business in 2020 where he earned a B.A in Finance and was named to the Dean’s List. He was also an NCAA basketball player, with SLIAC All-Academic Team recognition in 2017.
Daniel holds the Series 7 and 66 FINRA registrations. Outside of work, he enjoys surfing, playing basketball, and watching professional football.
ROSALIA GARCIA
Rosa Garcia began her career with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in 2005. While initially serving a key role in the operations division of the Los Angeles office, her desire to interact with and help clients brought her into her role as a Client Service Associate resulting in her promotion in 2007.
Her dedicated work ethic and wealth of knowledge has resulted in Rosa now running the Olympic Private Client Group client operations.
Rosa, a Los Angeles native, currently resides in Huntington Beach. She is an avid runner, finishing marathons in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Memphis. Rosa is also a passionate volunteer for the Life Rolls On Foundation, which holds surf and skate events for adaptive athletes.
Rosa holds the General Securities Representative License (Series 7) and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63).
BRYANNA DUCKWITZ
Our team bolstered our client service operation by welcoming Bryanna Duckwitz. Bryanna has already become an invaluable part of our team, excelling in both her primary and auxiliary roles for us here at the Olympic Private Client Group. In addition to her friendly demeanor and excellent work ethic, she has a great appreciation for various cultures after traveling and living overseas.
Bry is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a B.A. in Communications with a focus in Marketing. She lives just around the corner from the Newport Beach office, where she enjoys the daily scenic beach-view commute!
