In the spirit of back-to-school season, 51 Oppenheimer branches nationwide joined forces for the second annual Summer School Supply Drive, benefiting the Kids In Need Foundation (KINF).
Over the months of June and July, employees across the firm generously contributed $11,392—surpassing last year’s total and exceeding this year’s fundraising goal by more than $3,000. These contributions will provide 414 fully stocked backpacks, giving students the essential tools they need to begin the school year prepared and confident.

In addition to the monetary donations, employees collected more than 5,200 individual school supplies to support local schools and KINF’s mission of reaching students in under-resourced communities.
The Kids In Need Foundation is a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting schools where at least 70% of students qualify for free or reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch Program. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to ensure every child has access to quality school supplies, empowering them to learn, succeed, and reach their full potential.

This firmwide effort is a powerful example of The Power of Oppenheimer Thinking in action—demonstrating our team’s unwavering commitment to making a meaningful impact in the communities where we live and work. Together, we are helping students start the year ready to thrive.
